ETHNIC MINORITY HEALTH AND WELL-BEING  WORKER SERVICE

Our bi-lingual health workers offer confidential, health related support and advice to women, men and families from the diverse communities on Wirral and support them to access primary health care and help with GP appointments. From time to time WMO also organizes health checks, awareness events and various healthy activities and days out.

COMMUNITY SERVICE                                                                                        

This service provides one to one advocacy, advice, guidance and support with benefits, housing, debt, finance, immigration, work related and personal issues for people from all Ethnic Minority backgrounds.

Staff signpost and assist clients to access other services. Cantonese, Mandarin, Bengali, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Kurdish, Farsi, Ukrainian, Romanian and English languages are spoken by staff and support can also be obtained for those who speak other languages.
