Vaccine team: Miriam Primary Care Group
Available doses: 1st, 2nd and booster.
• 1st dose: anyone who is aged 12 and over.
• 2nd dose: anyone who is aged 12 and over – (8 weeks from the 1st dose
• Booster: anyone who is aged 16 and over, – (91 days from 2nd dose)
Autumn Winter Booster:
Criteria for Autumn/ Winter Booster
• You will need to have at least 91 days between your last COVID Vaccination.
• All adults aged 50 and over
• 5-49 years in a clinical risk group
• 16-49 who are carers
Feeling unwell or have symptoms?
• A high temperature
• New and persistent cough, or a
• Loss of/change in sense of taste or smell
You must NOT attend this event if you feel unwell. Please check for symptoms of COVID-19 – if you, or anyone you live with, have one or more of these symptoms you should not attend, self isolate.
Miriam Medical Center are offering a walk-in clinic for the COVID vaccine and booster. The times are:
- Monday to Friday
- From: 1:30pm To: 5.30pm
COVID is once again on the rise but because of the vaccine program and hygiene safety measures, we are not seeing as many hospitalisations or fatalities. Please be mindful of keeping yourself and others who may be vulnerable safe.
